General update on life:

Why is May always so hectic?

I had my first singing lesson on thursday, after much support from Charlie, and I have to say, it was amazing! I sing constantly, but only usually on my own/in front of Charlie/or when tipsy and playing singstar! The truth is, being at Queens, and being good friends with people who had been at stagecoach their whole lives, and close friends with a girl who is now well on her way to becoming a professional opera singer, the standards were pretty much impossible to compete with (or so I was made to believe anyway!) The truth is, I get so much joy from singing. I've been obsessed with the Phantom of the Opera since I was 10, I love musicals, music, piano, all of it! And I just want the confidence to be able to audition for something within the University, a chorus girl part in a musical, or a member of a choir, something extra curricular where I can go and sing my heart out, and not feel like I don't belong there! After just one lesson my tutor, Alice, has made me realise that I have a naturally great voice, and with her help, maybe I can make it better :) (ALSO: Extra-curricular alllllllways looks good on the old CV!)

In other news, Charlies (and mine I guess!) football team got into the Europa final on thursday night, very exciting stuff as they beat off all the favourites to win, beat some fantastic teams, and are playing Atletico Madrid (so are the only british team to make it through!!) So Charlie is whisking me off to Hamburg on May 12th to go and watch the final! COYW! God I hope they win, or Bobby Zamora is writing Charlie a very big cheque to cover the costs!

Also loooving working at Yo!Sushi, amazing people, great atmosphere, bearable hours, and discount on the yummiest food in the world. Mmmm. Sushi.
However with all this stuff going on, Uni work has gotta fit in somewhere! Unfortunately I have an essay (last of the year!) due in on the 13th, when I'm away, so because of yosushi, the races etc, I've got exactly 2 free days to write it, and do a webfolio, and blackboard posts. Nightmare. I sense all nighters coming on, especially as today was a free day and I've done sweet f**k all!!! Idiot or what? Anyhoo, that's my little update on the past few days :) I should really be freaking out about this essay more...oh and the fact I need my new passport to arrive before the 12th....yikes!

Love&Kisses
